Integrated Pest Management
IPM creates a schedule of monthly inspections of the property to monitor and scout for pest and/or insect activity on the tree and shrub material, which will dictate the appropriate means to deal with infestations of harmful pests to plant material. The method of treatment will be determined by the least invasive and least toxic means to control activity and be applied to the specific area of damage, not to the entire landscape.
In areas where a problem is reoccurring year after year All Care PHC technicians will apply preventative measures to control outbreaks of common pest/insects on desirable trees and shrubs. This will help to avoid excessive spraying and/or treatments during periods of peak growth and limit overexposure of chemicals to the surrounding environment.
Fertilization
Soil test are conducted annually to the primary tree and shrub areas to determine the appropriate levels of macro- and micro-nutrients necessary to sustain plant vitality. Fertilization schedules will be done on a predetermined schedule using local agronomic calendars. Includes small tree and shrub applications, as well as, deep root fertilization of specimen trees.
-Deep Root Fertilization is a process to promote root and canopy growth by hydraulically injecting liquid fertilizers and other beneficial products into upper 6″ to 12″ of root zone layer, also, encourages oxygen uptake by breaking up compacted soils.
